2026 GEOS Networking Night — Presented by Capricorn Metals
Department of Chemistry
17:00 – 21:00
One night. Zero excuses to skip it.
GEOS is pulling together industry, academic, and scientific heavyweights for the networking event of the semester — and this year it's bigger than ever. A growing lineup of companies will be on-site with booths, with more being announced as we lock them in. If you're studying geology and want to actually talk to the people hiring for grad programs and vac work (not just read about them on a careers page), this is it.
Keynote talks from: Capricorn Metals, Fortescue, and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG)!
Free food, free drinks, and a room full of people who can change your career trajectory. Come hungry, come curious, leave with actual contacts.
Date: September 11
Time: 5:00 PM start (doors 4:30 PM)
Venue: Curtin University, Bentley — Building 500, Level 1 Lobby
Tickets available now until September 4th.
Please note: alcohol will be served at this event. Attendees must be 18+ and may be required to show valid ID. Drink responsibly.
